It can create the exquisite combination of light and shadow.

Okawa Sashimono

It is the furniture or joinery assembled solely with wooden pieces and no nails.
Major examples include desks and chests.

Tsukiita

The wooden material made by slicing natural wood pieces like paper (0.2 – 0.6 mm in thinness). Preserving the beautiful look of natural wood with little warping property that often happens with plywood, it is the technique to make the best use of limited resource of woods.
